Join me for a walk in the woods.
I spent my childhood on the outskirt of the great forest Ödmården (The desolate woods). Once upon a time it was a dark and dangerous place dividing the north from the south. According to Ketil Hoengs Saga, where it is called Eyskógamörk, it was 20 reststops deep and made for an evil journey. Few dared to travel the dark and wild forest.
I have always been fascinated by it. It’s history and all the stories and legends born and told there. Now it has brought me a lot of inspiration and fodder for lyrics. And to juxtaposition those with industrial music seemed to me as a very good idea. So lend me your ears and I will tell you a little about the forest where I used to play as a a child.
The first release from Eyskógamörk will be available on the 6th of April, 2023.
New EP from RISKKAPITAL “Med huvudet i en påse” is out
The third release from Riskkapital is now available on Bandcamp. Soon also available on different streaming services.

Riskkapital live at Kajskjul 46
On August 14, 2021 I played my second gig at Kajskjul 46 in Gothenburg. What is happening? Another gig already! I am so thankful for this. And it was also very special since this was the first time I was at an indoor party since the beginning of the Covid pandemic. People, beer, music and dancing again.
It was a very special night. This time I shared the stage with Austerity & the Heart // Dubtopia and eleKtroFish. The super friendly and lovely Patrik Ganebratt, who is eleKtroFish, was the organizer of the event and he managed to put together a very nice evening. I was all smiles for the whole weekend after the gig.

First gig with Riskkapital at Festivilirium II
On July 2 I had my first gig. Wow! I am so grateful to get the opportunity to perform live. Thats the main reason I make music… to be able to meet an audience and play my songs loud and proud. But this time I was extra nervous, cause it was the first time ever to be just by my self on stage, and the project is still really new. I had only released four songs. But I had a couple of new songs that was written and I also played 2 covers and a few songs from my former band Batch ID.
The gig was at Festivilirium II, and organized by the lovely people from Delirium who organizes club nights in Gothenburg. It was really fun and very friendly. They had kind of a mini-festival for two days with two bands a night. I played the first night charing stage with the very charming Marras. Nino Tares and Nattskiftet performed on the second night. Sadly I couldn’t stick around for day two.

Second release from Riskkapital
On May 28, 2021 I released the second single from Riskkapital called Bit den hand som föder dig (Bite the hand that feeds you). Returning to a familiar topic of mine rallying and reminding people that we have a lot of power if we act together. We can change the world for the better if we decide to stand up against our masters.
The second song of this release is the song Helt normal (Totally normal), a song about how hard it is to fit into the small box called normality. Let’s make some more room inside this tiny box and blow the walls into space.

First release from Riskkapital
The first release from JAB produktion is a single from Riskkapital. It’s two songs, Spräng banken and Hon vill ha mig rå.
Spräng banken (Blow up the bank) is a typical song from me, talking about that common people are more powerful then we usually believe. If we bond over a common idea we could very easily change society. An notion that is both very hopeful and threatening, depending on the idea and your perspective.
Hon vill ha mig rå (She want’s me raw) is a bit different lyrically. I think with this project I gonna allow myself to be a bit more diverse regarding lyrics compared to Batch ID. So this song is just kind of exploring an idea of a partner that is interested in your primal desires and thinking, demanding or wishing for you to express them. Going beyond the point of rational thinking and exploring the desires of the lizard.
One less bottleneck in my workflow
I don’t have a proper vocal booth in my studio. So what I used to do was to empty a small storage room and fill a bunch of shelfs with pillows and fabrics. Then I put in my microphone, computer and audio interface inside and record some vocals. Quit tedious since I have my whole setup in the studio with a lot of synths and my monitors plugged into my audio interface. So this meant I just did’nt get my vocals recorded a lot of times. But now I have solved this by buying two long cables… one for the microphone and one for my headphones. Then I found this little app (Logic remote) that let me control Logic from a distance. So wonderful to be able to record some vocals without the hassle of disassemble my studio and put it back together again very time I record vocals. Happy camper! Just finished recording vocals to a new song called “Spräng banken”.
A new beginning
My band Batch ID is comatose and put on indefinite hold. So it’s time to spread my own tiny wings and see if I can fly on my own. Scary as hell, but also very exiting. As a part of this new journey I decided to try a new approach. Batch ID was always a bit schizophrenic regarding the musical direction and maybe a bit confusing to our audience. I still enjoy writing music in different styles, but instead of cramming all kinds of music into one project I have plans of dividing the music in 3-4 different ones. Experiment for awhile and see what happens.
The first projekt that will get some kind of release is called Riskkapital. The sound of Riskkapital is very much like the harder and punky side of Batch ID and the lyrics will be in Swedish. In this diary you will be able to read about the progress of this projekt and the ones that will follow.
